First Of all I want to start off by saying, discount car rental as a company as a whole is not the best rental company. They do however offer unlimited KM on all vehicles, and they usually will offer pretty low rates and if you rent as frequently as I do, it becomes expensive. I use my own insurance, and have never had an issue. I got into a car accident while renting from this location, and although discount could not replace my vehicle for 5 days, the location was attentive, and helpful, they even called to check up on me, asked if I was feeling okay and informed me of all the information I needed at the time for my rental, after the accident...and as soon as a vehicle came in (I got into an accident on Friday long weekend in august) they switched my agreement right over, waved the day rental fee from the day of the accident ANS I was on my way. This is jjst one of many good experiences with this location. The service and management at the evans road location, completely makes up for the lack of good customer service from the company as a whole. If your going to rent from discount car rental, I highly recommend going to the evans road and Kipling location, and ask for the manager. She is the absolute best, she always helps me find the best rate online, and Honors it, she always has my contract ready and my visit for pick ups and drop offs are quick and easy. She is always available during work hours for any questions I have and goes above and beyond to accommodate her customers. I always extend weekly, and not once has she over charged my card, she speaks to me before doing so, and extends my rental no problem. I wish I knew her name, I just call evans road location and ask for the manager. All of the other staff at this location are great as well, probably because there is a great manager on site. Thanks guys I appreciate you! After going to the 655 Dixon road location and renting for one month, (only because my usual location had no cars at the time I needed the rental) and receiving beyond horrible service, I will never stray away from this location again.
