I was looking for a Stage 3 hitch for my Nissan Xterra and Renaud was more than helpful. He was able to source one; where others I went to were not able; and installed it a couple of days later. An additional relay for the truck lights was needed and Renaud ordered that came to my house a few days later to install it. What great customer service and what a nice guy. Highly recommend Automotive Outfitters! After another company left me in a lurch, Renaud was able to accommodate a last minute appointment to install a trailer hitch on my mini-van. He was so fast and efficient and I was even able to get to work on time! Yay, we can take our bikes camping! Thank you Renaud, will recommend to friends and family!

Impressed! I have a 2016 BMW X3, and was about worried about getting a non-OEM hitch. On the other hand, the BMW dealer quotes for a hitch were outrageous. I'm towing a trailer a dozen times a year, not transporting the Queen through the streets of London! Anyway, after conducting an extensive online search (including Kingston, Toronto and Montreal) and contacting several hitch dealers/retailers, I decided to go with Automotive Outfitters based on their consistently positive reviews and Ottawa base. I was still nervous (reviews may not tell the whole story), but my fears were unfounded. First, I was late. Given that I was given a ''before hours'' appointment because I needed a hitch ASAP, I assumed they would be unimpressed. To the contrary, I was greeted with a smile and understanding. Second, I expected to be there for three hours, but my car was ready in 1.5 hours. Third, the Curt hitch has functioned perfectly (and looks great)! Fourth, the owner was on-site and treated me with respect. Yeah, it's still something that we women take note of when dealing with certain professions. The owner is professional and patient, with a gentleman's charm. And just so you don't think I'm easily impressed or fooled, I have towed large boats and trailers via crew cab trucks. I know how a hitch should function. The owner was lovely, but if I was not happy with the hitch and/or install, I would not write a favourable review. This doesn't happen often for me, but I can 100% recommend this business. And no, I'm not the owner's Mom (and I have no prior affiliation with him or the business).

Great experience getting a hitch installed. They took me on short notice and had the hitch parts ready and waiting when I got there. Friendly service at a very fair price. Installation was done while I waited - they have a nice couch and TV at your disposal.

I did some research to get a Berliner done on my Ram. Found out that the reflex Bedliner had better specs all around. Got it sprayed and I'm happy with my choice. Clean and grippy compound. Automotive outfitters is my new spot for accessories.
