It's tough for me to give an accurate rating to Gary's I had heard good things when I first went there and bought a 2007 Outlander... just up on 10 years old... but for a car that was just past its warranty, the price seemed right. I specifically asked if it had any foreseeable issues and was told it was in good shape. Well in the past two years and only about 25000 km added, I've replaced the right CV axle, gas tank, front ball joints, control arm, had to repair the rad and and exhaust, and a host of other problems. My suspension is totally shot. My plastic splash protection on the bottom is mostly gone and completely shredded. All in all I bought the car for 6800 or so plus tax, and have now spent close to 5000 in repairs for problems that would have been identifiable had I taken it during my test drive, to another shop... as per the shop that did many of these repairs. I had thought about making a complaint to your shop... but I figured, my own fault... buyer beware I guess. That said, the entire experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and it's hard to say if i'd go back there for another vehicle. I'm going with three stars because they were friendly and seemed knowledgeable, but several issues... especially a completely rusted out and rotten fuel tank, should've been spotted, and might have convinced me to look at one of the other cars... for what I've spent on it and in repairs, i could've bought the nicest thing on the lot.

I recommend Gary's Auto Sales. Saw their listing on Kijiji of a used vehicle I was interested in. Went to have a look and take a test drive. The vehicle suited me and we negotiated the deal inside. I never felt pressured in any way. It has been several weeks now and I am still pleased with the vehicle and the courtesy of the staff at Gary's.
