Incredible service - My wife and I stopped by without an appointment to view a boat we saw online. We are not what you call expert boaters. This was our second boat. When we got there Andy was just pulling up with another boat. We discussed what we were looking for in a boat, he explained in detail the differences in boats, what to look for when buying and what would meet our needs. Then we spoke about the boat we were interested and asked for us to come back to do an on the water test because he was in the middle of a couple of things and was not expecting us. Within about 2 seconds, Andy had changed his mind and said ''what the heck, you are here now, lets go!'' So we went to the local launch and did the tour. We were very impressed by his knowledge of boats and decided to buy it right there. We wanted the boat for that weekend and I believe it was on a Thursday. Andy had gone out of his way to ensure the boat was ready for delivery on the Saturday morning. There were still a few cosmetic things that needed to be done and he suggested we bring it back towards the end of the season and he will make sure they got taken care of. After our first trip on the water, there was a small oil pressure leak and an issue with the trailer that needed to be addressed. It was our mistake for not having the boat looked at first. However, with one phone call, Andy took the boat back in, found and fix the leak, addressed the trailer issue and made sure the cosmetic issues were fixed. Not only that, as it was late in the year, I had asked if he was able to winterize the boat and find someone to wrap it for us.....He winterized the boat, wrapped it himself and has been keeping it on his lot for us until spring. Most dealers, once you bring something off the lot, they may do some service work (providing it was identified prior) but most do not without a cost. Andy and Jessica had gone out of their way to make sure my wife and I were 100% satisfied with out purchase and to be quite honest, with all other used dealers (boats, cars or Rv's).....we have always walked away wondering what was not told to us and when something did come up...it was the typical ''you bought it''. It has been quite refreshing to deal with someone that actually cares about their customers and not just the number of units they sell. We bought our first boat from Canadian Boat Sales (CBS) four years ago and are delighted with it and with the experience. This father/daughter business is top notch both in quality of products and service. Here's what we've experienced: 1. When we first visited the lot, Andy, the owner, greeted us. We came to look at a Boston Whaler. As we walked around the lot, Andy asked us lots of questions about what we wanted from our boating experience. He then told us about a boat that he thought would be perfect. Turns out, that's the boat we bought and he was right. It's a 23' Sea Ray Sundeck. 2. He only showed us boats in our price range. He never tried to upsell us. 3. At this first meeting and through all of our talks, Andy constantly helped educate us, and he never talked down to us as ''newbies''. 4. Jessica, his daughter, has every bit of paperwork done perfectly. The transaction was seamless and painless. 5. Though Andy has sold much more expensive boats, he realized this was a big step for us. He took us out for a test ride. And he never pressured us. We needed to think it over, and he gave us all the time we needed. The boat performs exceptionally well (every person we've taken on it is impressed). Most importantly, the engine is in fantastic shape and has been perfect. Since buying this boat, we've learned a lot about boats and engines and marine service. We've worked with several marinas back in the United States side of the Thousand Islands (where we live), and most of those experiences have been negative (poor service and dishonest deals). We will always buy all of our boats from Canadian Boat Sales. They are a five-star operation.

Andy and Jessica are the embodiment of excellent customer service. I purchased a boat this year from here and after the sale Andy would not rest until everything was perfect.
