Kudos to GIBR for making boating experience in Vancouver so easy for those who are new to boating. From training on navigation to the GPS equipped boats that will beep if you are getting too close to the hazards. I should also mention very friendly and helpful staff. The rates are reasonable, the online reservation system made it easy to book. And plenty of interesting places to see just steps away from downtown. Give them a try!

Rented a boat with my wife and kids last summer and had a blast. The online reservation and check in was easy and we even got upgraded to a better boat. We had amazing weather and I’d definitely do it again. Worth the cost!

Really happy with my experience. At first booking was a little frustrating, couldn't get dates, or just had to ''request'' a date and they'd let you know if it was available,etc. But they just updated their website so as soon as that was up and running, booking was a breeze. The staff was great. Some people commented about social distancing protocols, maybe they fixed that up by the time I was there because I found it good. There was my group and another checking in at the same time. They asked that only the drivers be in the office to watch the training video and they kept us seperate. The gentleman that did our boat orientation was wonderful! I'm sorry I don't recall his name but he made sure we were comfortable with the boat and good to go. Love the safety features on the boat warning you if you're too close to shallow areas, and they also called because we accidentally went too far. I really appreciated that, felt really safe and we had an amazing afternoon out on the water! Will rent from there again for sure!
