I was referred to twisting steel by argyll motorsports for some carb work on my vintage 1966 yamaha 50cc. I just had the carb off and with me and doug took a look at it on the spot. Had it apart in seconds. Repaired the float and blew out the jets and did a psi test in about 2 minutes! He said no charge but i offered to leave a healty donation to the coffee|beer fund which i did. Got home and was up and running at the new warp speed of 78.25 kilometers an hour! Thanks guy's and i have some other work for you when fall hits on the Yamaha.

I had great service by Doug and his team! Very knowledgeable on vintage bike repair and tuning! With a quick turnaround to boot! very personable guys, they dont beat around the bush and keep you in the loop on how your bike is doing! Would reccomend!

Brought my 1985 Yamaha Maxim X to Doug to clean and tune my carbs as well as diagnose some other issues I was having. He brought my old, tired bike back to it's glory days! Couldn't be happier and couldn't have worked with a nicer, more talented guy than Doug! Thanks for all your hard work and solid advice. Feel free guys to stop by Doug and chat him up about any issues or questions you have! His rates are more than fair and his results speak for themselves.

Took my quad in to get transmission work done on it and Doug kept me in the loop on where he was on the repairs and got my quad back to me running better than ever fully rebuilt. Definitely would recommend, 10/10 service. Would recommend to anyone looking for a mechanic.
