A1 is an excellent example of ''local business dun good.'' Since the first time I went to them, about a decade ago or so, they've been my dedicated tire service. ...and that's what I love! I'm a world where everyone is trying to be a jack of all, A1 has stayed true to being the master of one. The service is spot on... friendly, of course, but business focused. They get you in, work fast and efficiently and you're done. Make an appointment and its even more efficient! So, they're local, fast, friendly, specialized, and here's the kicker: no hidden costs. What they quote is what you get. More than once, I've been given a suggestion that SAVED me money. I may sound fawning, but hey... they've earned the praise.

Great service! Had to reschedule due to weather, and then was late due to car not starting. They were so kind and understanding. They were behind when we got there but they let us know, were apologetic, and had overall amazing customer service. We were late so we really could not be upset since we contributed to the backlog. They were very professional and 10/10 will be back and could not recommend enough.

Have used A1 numerous times with amazing service! The tires brought in were the wrong size ( I got the year of the car wrong) but the staff were able to get the correct size and have them installed within a few hours. I was quite disappointed with the receptionist repetitively removing her mask for no reason while checking my car in. I understand masks can be uncomfortable but it is a matter of safety, and mandated in indoor public spaces. Would love to give 5 stars for service, unfortunately a front staff violating public health orders is a big issues for me.

I cannot recommend A-1 Tire highly enough! I have been purchasing tires here for more than two decades for multiple vehicles and never have I been disappointed! Their commitment to customer service is second to no one! And given their huge volume of used tires (I believe they may be the largest used tire dealer in Canada) they can almost certainly find a solution for anyone. To my knowledge they are one of the last tire shops that take drop-ins. That is very encouraging given tire trouble is never ''scheduled''! If you go to A-1, you can be confident that you will not be pressured to buy something that you don't need. Keep up the good work guys!

**edit at bottom ** this was a one star review but not anymore For the most part I've had great experiences with A1. This year however has been a downer. I ordered two brand new sets of winter tires, one for my vehicle and one for the vehicle of my employee. The ones I ordered for myself I requested to get the tires studded and put on rims and then booked an appointment so I could be quickly in and out. I even booked the time off work to make this appointment. The appointment took almost two hours which to me if they put the tires on rims it shouldn't have taken nearly this long. Then when I got home and actually looked at the tires they didn't stud them!! They even made me put down a deposit on the tires so they could stud them ahead of time. I double checked my receipt and sure enough the studding was on there and charged to me. I'll be calling Monday so they can try and rectify this. If they don't try hard to win me back this will be my last visit that me and my company makes to A1 tire. I've been a customer for ten years. *** the owner has fixed the situation for me *** I will continue to use A1 tire.
