Our first contact with Yacht Sales West was during the Vancouver Boat Show at which time the Team at YSW set time aside to listen (and take notes) to what we were looking for in our next boat. During our subsequent meeting, YSW recommended several options with the benefits of each option carefully explained to both of us It became evident the Dufour 310 was the best option and after several months of ownership, the boat has exceeded our highest expectations. A review written by our latest Dufour customer. Thanks for your good words and enjoy your brand new Dufour 382 ''We just picked up our new Dufour 382 and sailed it home. At one point we had 20 knots of wind and the boat handled it very well. The boat exceeded our expectations, it is well designed, well finished and sails beautifully. We had to wait a while for delivery due to the Covid 19 but Yachts West helped us work through it and when the boat arrived David the Service Manager and all the staff worked hard to outfit the boat to our specifications and make the handover seamless. When I first started looking for a new sailboat a friend suggested to me that the dealer that I would be getting the boat from should play a key part in my choice in my decision making process. Now that I have recently taken possession of my new beautiful Bavaria C45 it has become clear how right he was with that point. Over the past two years I've talked to a lot of boat brokers and dealers. From my first encounter with Dave Bonar at Yacht Sales West, to travelling to Boot in Dusseldorf to see the full menu of boats, through to commissioning her with David Bossu I found them and the other members of the YSW team low pressure, thoughtful and endlessly patient (new boat buyers can be a real pain in the butt (I mean me))! There are a lot of decisions to make when ordering a new boat and a good decision making partner is extremely valuable. Now about the new Bavaria C series; I looked at them all and this new series is in my mind, the clear leader of the new designs. I would typically be a ''slightly used'' buyer but there was no way that the boats a few years old can compete with the new designs. My most pleasant surprise is how fast she is. I was worried that with all that comfort below I would be sacrificing speed. Not the case the case with this boat! I would highly recommend the high integrity team at Yacht Sales West for any of your boat buying decisions.
