We just purchased a new boat from FYS and have been very happy with our experience with them. We liked that the base boat they had commissioned had lots of good stuff (full set of 4 house AGMs, folding prop, etc). We also liked that as we asked for certain feature (fw flush electric head, AIS, battery monitor, etc) they would include better quality than the run of the mill. I knew nothing about electric heads, so they sourced a Tecma head. Which, from our cruising friends, we now know is one of the quietest and most reliable eHeads available. Finally, when we took delivery, there were, of course, a handful of minor imperfections from the factory. FYS dealt with as many of these as was possible in the time available and the rest will be taken care of when next visit them at Granville Island. Would I buy another boat from FYS? Absolutely. Hopefully I won't be in the market for a while as we are loving our Jeanneau 419.
