I needed a 15HP motor for a fishing boat and wanted a Yamaha. I called Galleon Marine as my friend had recently bought a boat through them. I got an amazing engine at a great price. Dealing with Ian was fantastic. He did exactly what he promised and I was in an out of the dealership in no time. Perfect!

Mark is amazing, always going the extra mile to get the service required, even on his day off! Best service in the lower mainland bar none. I'm planning to buy a new outboard for my other boat, and will be switching from Merc to Yamaha solely because of the service. Thanks again.

I have had a chronic stalling issue with one of my motors for the past 2 years. I have taken it to 3 different Yamaha Service centres without the issue being resolved. I wish I would have taken it to Galleon and Mark Matteo and Mike in the first place. They were fantastic and got it right the first time around. Make the drive and take your boat to them. You won’t regret it.

Unbelievable, I mean this in the most positive way possible. I don't go online to post things like this usually and it's too bad we can only give 5 stars. This is because most customer service experiences these days simply need to be forgotten, not celebrated. We are new to boating and have been renting a slip from Galleon. Being a family business showed right away in our dealings with Ian, always available to answer all of our questions. Some of them may have been silly but he obliged with plenty of great information. This past Saturday we took our, new to us, boat out for it's maiden voyage and discovered that we were consuming gear oil quicker then we should be so we headed back to the marina where Ian introduced me to his brother Mark that runs the service department and we talked about possible cause of the oil leak. He was great and explained that we could still use the boat while we waited to get it in to be looked at, even gave me a bit of oil to keep handy onboard. We decided that we'd head out again for a bit just so we could try crab fishing at the mouth of the river. Had a great rest of the afternoon and then headed back in. This is when things went really wrong for us. Nearly back at the marina we violently hit a log, snapping the leg off the boat. After making some calls to arrange a tow I noticed that we were indeed taking on some water. This was more concerning as I had no idea what we were going to do when we got back to the marina because if left alone I was quite sure it would have sunk sitting in our slip. By sheer luck I had gotten Mark's cell phone number earlier to send him pictures of our serial numbers on the engine. It was 8pm on a Saturday night and in desperation II sent him a text explaining our situation and hoped for the best. He called me back and said that he could come down and we could try to get the boat on one of their trailers. I couldn't believe the commitment to helping out once again shown by him. We got towed back and there he was waiting with the trailer in the water, got boat situated as best as he could and pulled her out of the water. This was at 10PM! As terrible as our situation was that night I came away feeling unbelievably blessed in having our boat where it was. This kind of thing is what creates a customer for life and that's exactly what Galleon Marine has in me now, stupid questions and all. I honestly cannot relay how grateful we are for Mark and Ian and the rest of the employees at their shop.

Awesome experience purchasing my first boat at Galleon Marine. No pressure sales approach and great practical advice led to a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Mike DiNardo answered all my questions and was very supportive throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Galleon and will continue to go there for my boating needs.
