The overall experience here was pretty good. The salesman Eric there was awesome, took care of all my needs. I didn't want to fault the dealership nor the salesman with my bad experience post sale (in the finance department) which isn't really the dealerships fault neither the salesman's. It all took a negative twist when I was promised by the third party finance department that the paperwork for the truck to go and plate it was botched. I was there on the Friday June 5th, to take delivery of my vehicle which was explained by the 8 or 9th of June that I would receive the ownership as well as the cheque for the taxes. I was later told it would be sent off on Tuesday morning via express shipping that I would receive these no later than Wednesday night if not Thursday morning. On Tuesday I asked the finance department if they had sent the documentation and was informed they will be sent. On Wednesday, I called again to confirm. No answer on the finance side. Until Thursday morning finally calling Eric to find out what was going on with the paperwork and was informed that he had not heard from the 3rd party finance department ''Mike Auto Sport'' either about the paperwork. Eric immediately took care of the situation and escalated it to the right people getting my paperwork sent immediately overnight. If it wasn't for Eric sending out the paperwork, I would have had to drive my vehicle unplated for an undetermined amount of time. Again, not the dealership's fault, Mikes Auto Sport did not even write me a cheque for the taxes meaning I had to pay for the taxes ($2,400) to the SAAQ... Mikes Auto Sport apologized that I had to pay the taxes up front without the cheque and said they will make it up to me and will also additionally transfer me the money via e transfer. They did e-transfer me the $2400, but Multiple days later, still no compensation from Mike Auto Sport for the total inconvenience of having to fork out $2,400 to plate my truck almost 7 days after the paperwork was promised. The dealership Auto En Gros is a great place to shop although they need to change the financing department to another company. Nonetheless I am happy with the purchase of my 2017 Silverado, I will likely go see Eric again for purchasing. Although Mikes Auto Sport (financing) was horrible.
